There are many alternative ad networks out there, including Google AdSense, that you can use to monetize your website. Some are more trustworthy than others, some are more cost-effective, and some are better suited to different niches or verticals. This list of top 10 best alternatives to Google AdSense will help you find the perfect fit for your needs so you can maximize revenue from your website.

Skimlinks

Skimlinks allows publishers to monetize their content through affiliate marketing. If you are not familiar with affiliate marketing, all you need to know is that Skimlinks sends an affiliate referral when a reader clicks on an in-text link. With other ad networks, publishers have to download an ad tag or insert an iframe code into their pages in order for ads to appear on those pages. With Chitika, it’s a white label solution; all you have to do is copy and paste your site's special ad code into place, and all your users' clicks will be tracked by Chitika so you get paid directly when someone clicks on your ad. If you don't like ads appearing on your page at all (maybe because they look ugly), then feel free to opt out with no penalty. You keep 100% of your earnings either way! There are no setup fees or contracts, but since it's based on CPM (cost per thousand impressions), expect lower earnings than with CPC programs like AdSense and Mediavine.
